The foundation of our business is reliable phototiming. Our reliability is backed by our quality equipment and the fact that we provide two, line scan, timing enabled, cameras as part of our timing service. Barring a complete breakdown we will provide an image and F. A. T. time for each race. The picture from each camera is saved for review if the need arises. We have an inventory of 4 timing enabled cameras. These cameras provide felixibility when setting up finish lines. Championship meets often setup alternate finishlines or have a camera on each side of the finishline for a different view for close finishes.
ResulTV
ResulTV can display results in various ways. We provide ResulTV as a results terminal for your announcer. ResulTV will be on a computer placed next to the announcer. As the finishlynx image is read the name and time of each competitor will be displayed and the announcer can inform the spectators as the results are being processed. To keep the fans informed we provide a Chronomix digital clock and new for 2008 a Daktronics Galaxy 2 line display. Both are driven by FinishLynx and give us the ability to show the running time while the event is in progress and stop the clock with a photobeam break as the first finisher crosses the line to display an unofficial finishing time. As the first finisher's time is read by FinishLynx the Chronomix clock will display the official winning time.
The Daktronics board gives a bigger picture and more information. As the FinishLynx image is being read the name, affiliation, and time is displayed on the board. When the image is saved the place is also displayed for official results immediately after the race.
Both displays can be operated wirelessly for flexibility in setup.
Our technology includes a Gill ultrasonic wind gauge. This wind gauge is connected to the FinishLynx system and automatically records the wind reading in the results. For field events we have a manual wind gauge that can be easily operated by an official.
Data management
Data management is a strong part of what we do. We use Hy-Tek or LynxPad. The FinishLynx software interfaces easily with both data programs.
We can set our computer to interface with your data program that is equipped with the FinishLynx interface. Results are available as soon as the photo is read.
We can receive e-mail entries or work with one of the online entry services to make the administration of your meet as efficient as possible.
